Mantatelure Bed & Breakfast - Lecce

The breakfast was mediocre at best, quite disappointing considering the lofty prices. The parking situation was an absolute nightmare, and to top it off, i was not even offered a complimentary drink for my troubles. Clearly, being treated like royalty is a distant dream here. I almost wrote a good review, but just couldn't.

Greatly enjoyed fresh made breakfasts!!

The staff was incredibly helpful and professional, the room was fashionable with the jacuzzi tub and lovely furnishings, as example. This nicely renovated hotel had central setting right in the heart of the old city.

The hotel was set in a central area close enough to old town, the center of Lecce's old town well decorated establishment in the spirit of the local baroque style, and the centre. And it's not too far away from Cosiminio, ate there once or twice.

Ask about the eco-friendly practices. The local sourcing of ingredients adds unique flavor to the breakfast offerings.

Simply no complains at all, such wonderful stay. Gorgeous hotel, location stunning in a quaint town, pleasantly surprised by affable staff and elegant atmosphere. Extensive options for breakfast with fruit smoothies and meats, as example. Public parking nearby provided. Everything excellent.

The breakfast offerings were nothing short of really good, with daily homemade treats and gluten-free options that catered to various dietary needs.

The bed was a bit too firm for our personal comfort, which affected our sleep quality each night.

The good outweighs the bad (barely)

The homemade breakfast was a good highlight every morning! The staff was attentive and even remembered my coffee preferences.

Unfortunately, navigating the stairs to our room was quite inconvenient, and parking nearby was a bit of a hassle.

The charm of Mantatelure really shines through. The beautifully designed rooms offered a comfortable retreat after busy days in Lecce. The breakfast, a highlight, featured very nice homemade cakes and a variety of local flavors that excited my taste buds each morning. The garden area provided a fine backdrop for afternoon relaxation. Managing steps to access certain rooms was a bit of a challenge, especially with luggage. Parking posed another concern. It was cheap but slightly tricky to navigate due to the tight city streets. Despite this, the warm and cute staff were good. There's a small need for some variety in pillow options to cater to different comfort preferences, but overall, the unique historical experience far outweighed any minor inconveniences.

Beautiful garden area

I loved staying here with my extended family of 20! The hotel exudes charm, and the daily breakfast was varied and delicious. The location is perfect for exploring Lecce, with attractions just a stroll away. Everyone felt at home amidst the historical ambiance.

My kids wished for more family-friendly dining options.

I had a fantastic experience here! I was offered some delicious pastries on the lovely outdoor patio, and I thoroughly enjoyed unwinding in the cozy garden after a long day. While the mattress was a bit firmer than I prefer, it didn't take away from the overall charm of my stay 😊

This place was perfect for our group trip! Fine courtyard, lovely breakfasts. We explored the beautiful local attractions and took day trips to the nearby coastal towns. I'd recommend this spot to anyone looking for a charming getaway.

We had some issues with noise from the street when the windows were open, making it tricky to sleep soundly.

Perfect spot with amazing staff!

The patio for breakfast was lovely, and the cold buffet had tons of choices that really fueled my days. The staff were really good, even offering to make me a special coffee when I couldn't decide. Only issue was navigating the tight parking, which took some time, but totally worth it!
